PMQs: New lockdown ‘will expire on 2 December’, says Boris Johnson


Prime Minister Boris Johnson has insisted England’s next lockdown will end on 2 December.

Talking in the course of Prime Minister’s Inquiries, Labour leader Keir Starmer asked whether or not the lockdown would stop even if infections are however rising by then.

Sir Keir mentioned it would be “insanity” to go back to the tiered method if infections are climbing.
